Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification formally recognizes your progress through your career as you develop and apply systems engineering knowledge and practices. INCOSE offer three levels of certification ASEP, CSEP and ESEP.

There are 3 certification levels, based on System Engineering professional experience of candidates.
Associate Systems Engineering Professional
beginning System Engineering activities or having studied System Engineering at University or just interessed into Systems Engineering
Certified Systems Engineering Professional
if you practice System Engineering since more than 5 years in professional context
Expert systems Engineering professional
if you are a recognized System Engineering Leader with recognized and relevant System Engineering achievements, thanks to more thant 25 years of professional experience

Every candidate, INCOSE membre, follow a dedicated process, evaluating his/her knowledge, his/her know-how and his/her efficiency when performing System Engineer activities.
Please note that it is not possible to use the french ‘CPF’ to pass this certification, as CSEP certification is NOT registered at RNCP (Registre National des Certifications Professionnelles).
How to keep your INCOSE certification active?
Professional Development Units (PDUs) demonstrate your ongoing commitment to training and the practice of Systems Engineering:
• Participation in INCOSE/AFIS events, webinars, and workshops…
• Systems Engineering training and publications: courses on systems engineering, publication of technical articles.
• Systems Engineering-related roles: application of IS skills in your professional role.
The AFIS is an affiliate membre of INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering), thanks to a MOU signed since 1999. AFIS is the only official entity representing INCOSE in France.
The INCOSE have been created in 2004 to develop and disseminate best-in-class practices to develop successful systems.
By joining the AFIS, every membre can become an INCOSE affiliate.
